Meet the Faculty

Professional and Expertise Instructors

Gregory Carli, P. Eng., P. E. - Mr. Carli is principal and Senior Project Manager at CRA, a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, and is the Principal-in-Charge of the CRA Institute, CRA's training and educational services department.  He works with clients to advise them on approaches integrating commonplace environmental matters, such as waste handling practices, energy consumption and conservation, and sustainable design.

Steve Harris, M.A.Sc., P. Eng - Mr. Harris is a senior engineer / risk assessor / quantitative hydrogeologist and Principal / Vice President of CRA and has many years experience conducting risk assessments and quantitative hydrogeologiy / fate and tansport assessments.  Mr. Harris leads CRA's Risk Assesment Services Group, and is a senior member of CRA's Groundwater Modeling Group.

Richard Lewis II, Ph.D., P.E - Dr. Lewis is a shareholder and Secretary of the Board of Directors for HSA Engineers & Scientists.  He manages the Fort Myers office and is responsible for the corporate environmental engineering department. Currently, Dr. Lewis sits on the board of the Edison College Foundation and is an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University where he taught a course on Organic Chemistry.  He is also a trainer for ITRC and has acted a a peer reivewer for public and private clients on projects concerned with remedial design and risk assesment. 

Julian Hayward, B.A.Sc., P. Eng - Mr. Hayward is a professional engineer and has worked extensively in the US, Canada, and the UK / Europe.  His experience inlcudes various aspects of environmental assessment and engineering.  Mr. Hayward is also actively engaged in providing sustainability-related services, including sustainable design, greenhouse gas assessments, and auditing and verifcation related to environmental perfomance indicators and corporate environmental reporting.   

EH&S Instructors

Christpher Andrews, ASP., CET - Mr. Andrews is an experienced environmental, health and safety professional with many years of experience providing EH&S consulting services that include EH&S training and management, EH&S management systems, audit and assessment program, regulatory intepretation and compliance strategic, risk-based hazard management, and industrial hygiene programs. Mr. Andrews currenlty serves as the EH&S Training Manager for the CRA Institute,  He is responsible for the coordination of instructors, risk-based hazard management, and industrial hygiene programs

Wayne St. Denis CRSP - Mr. St. Denis is a senior Regional Safety and Health Manager for Canada, as well as the Central and Western Canada Regional Safety and Health Manager for CRA.  With extensive experience in both Canadian and United State workplace environments, Mr. St. Denis has designed and implemented numerous safety awareness and skills training programs.  Mr. St. Denis has a proven track record in the development of specialized training initiatives in industrial environments, retail, and school systems.

Patrick Mydlarz, CHME - Mr. Mydlarz is a Certified Hazardous Materials executive and has many years experience in the EH&S field. He has conducted training classes for the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, HAZWOPER, Asbestos & Lead Inspector Certification, OSHA 501 Standards for General Industry, HASCOM, DOT and various other related EH&S classes.
