Jeffrey A. Maranciak, CSP, CET, OHST
Mr. Maranciak has a B.S. degree in Safety and Environmental Management and holds nationally recognized and accredited certifications as an Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Environmental Safety and Health Trainer (CET), certified OSHA 500/502 trainer for Construction and is a member in good standing of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He has over 11 years experience in providing safety, industrial hygiene, and training services with extensive experience and expertise in construction safety management. He is familiar with Union practices/protocols and has demonstrated the ability to work well within an organized labor (Union) setting.
Mr. Maranciak has conducted and served as a principal instructor on a variety of subjects including the following training topics:
- Industrial hygiene air sampling and monitoring procedures
- Confined space entry policies and procedures
- Behavioral Based Safety Program Management topics including leadership, coaching, observations, and root cause analysis and instigation procedures
- Defensive Driving (Motor Vehicle Safety) including topics such as Fatigue Management and Towing and Trailering
- All aspects of the OSHA 24/40-Hour HAZWOPER as well as 8-Hour Refresher courses (29 CFR 1910.120)
- 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisory training
- Forklift training including hands-on operator review
- Respiratory protection training and fit testing procedures
- Fall protection (29 CFR 1926 - Subpart M) including Ladders, Stairways, and Scaffolds (29 CFR 1926)
- OSHA 10/30-Hour Construction Outreach training which includes topics/subjects included within 29 CFR 1926 Subparts C through Z
- Lockout/tagout training including LOTO procedure writing and review
