Nigel Leehane, BSc, MSc, MIEMA, CEnv

Mr. Leehane has over 20 years experience of working with organisations to improve environmental and sustainability performance, initially in industry and then in consultancy.  He is a member of CRA's Sustainable Solutions Group, leading the development and implementation of services in the areas of carbon accounting and management systems.  Nigel applies his extensive experience of the sustainability challenges facing private and public sector organisations in providing strategic and management solutions.  An experienced IEMA-registered principal environmental auditor, Nigel is a member of the BSI committee for environmental auditing and also of the International Standards Organisation technical committee responsible for revising ISO 19011.

Nigel is an experienced trainer and facilitator, and has developed and presented courses and workshops ranging from basic environmental awareness to the development of corporate sustainability targets.  His environmental consultancy experience also includes environmental impact assessment, contaminated land investigation and environmental monitoring.  Prior to consultancy, he worked in the minerals sector, and has been a Mines and Quarries Act Section 98 quarry manager.
